We were a little apprehensive when we pulled up because from the outside, it could have been one of those motels with smokey rooms where you would definitely want to keep your socks, maybe even your shoes on until you got into bed... but we were very suprised when we entered the room, as it was very updated, smelled good, very clean, great linens, cable  TV with HBO, frig, microwave, and everything else a higher end hotel would have available. There was a small room by the pool and across from the lobby where they had a hot tub that was going, and you could see the steam rising when looking through the glass, there were a couple people in it so we didn't go. The next morning, we enjoyed the breakfast, which was very convenient because we were passing through town, and it was easy to eat and run. Good coffee with a french vanilla creamer depenser, so that made my day too. The breakfast buffet had everything you could want, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, pastries, muffins, cereal, fruit, but I have to be careful here because it was not necessarily high-end, but fresh and just enough to be satified. I was impressed with the waffle machine they had there too, where we could make our own waffles. There was a batter dispenser with perfectly sized paper cups on the side, so we just filled up the little cup and poured it in the waffle machine and 2 1/2 minutes later, it was done, a perfect waffle. It's obviously a family ownd and operated small business, and they were all very nice and helpful. They even gave us a voucher to a steak restaurant in town, good for two free drinks. It was a good stay all around and a great value!

Nice spacious and quiet room. Had to go to lobby for ice, gap in the door was big enough for cockroaches and other critters. Left before breakfast but the menu looked more than adequate. No overnight staff for early check out, so if you want a receipt, get it when you check in.

We have stayed here before and really liked it. The only problem we had this time was that we asked for a non-smoking room and when we walked in the whole room smelled heavily of smoke. Even the towels had a horrible strong smell of smoke. We discovered that a lady in the next room was smoking in a non-smoking room. The next weekend we came through,  we requested a downstairs room, non-smoking and the hotel clerk was very nice to give us a good one. We didn't have any problems on the second visit. It was a very nice stay.

What a great motel. In the tradition of older Best Westerns in style and design but maintained in great shape. Large rooms. Great beds. Quality bedding. Updated heating, security and plumbing. This place was a wonderful surprise.

The hotel is conveniently located with a supermarket just down the road. It was good to be able to park outside the room which was reasonably large and comfortable. However having to walk across the parking lot for breakfast in the cold was challenging. The toilet seat needed attention and the bed was very hard. To have a powerpoint right over the sink  is potentially a danger. Breakfast was standard fare but not what we were lead to believe with watered down fruit juice, lack of bananas and limited food choices. The location is beside the interstate but we heard no noise although the lady next door talked on the phone non-stop through thin walls. The hotel is OK but we have stayed in better.

I've stayed at this hotel in the past but management has renovated and improved service. It was a good experience.

We needed a week-end get away and the hotel was great. We spent time in the Hot tub... great breakfasts. Service was wonderful. Only complaint was the speed bumps were a little high. It was our anniversary and look forward to going back again.

This Best Western was fine. The room was clean, staff friendly enough and it came with a complete breakfast, which was also great and very convenient. We had 2 dogs with us and there was a small fee (which frequently happens) and we are grateful for any hotel that allows pets. There was not a good place on the hotel grounds to walk them so I had to  leave the property and the immediate area was not unsafe, but was certainly not the best part of town. It is just up the hill from Main Street, so that was easily walkable for us but might not be for others. Next time we will look into other hotels that might be in a slightly better part of town that take pets!

Great place to relax. Quiet, with a beautiful view of the mountains. Great location. Close to grocery store and a few good restaurants.
