| Office was not in office, had to ring bell to get them to come to answer any questions and check in.
Rooms are old and need updating |

| No knife-wielding manager burst into the room with a knife, but it was definitely a bizarre experience. The old man at the front desk (the owner) just squinted and stared at our reservation printout for the longest time, until finally I asked if something was wrong. He said he didn't know anything about these web sites and they usually have the details wrong. It took him forever to check us in (by hand, in ledgers) and hand us one of those motel keys from the 1960s. He was about to leave for the night, which would have left us stranded. The room reeked of disinfectant, but was basically clean, very small, surprisingly had a microwave, fridge, coffee maker. The heating didn't work, and the blanket was super thin. But in summer, if you just want a cheap bed, there were no axe murderers in sight. |

| Far exceeded my expectations. The rooms were well kept, clean and quiet. We stayed as a stop on a long trip and will definitely stay again. |
