We had heards from friends that there were no nice places to stay in Raton. Well the service and accomodations were great. If you are looking for a clean quite motel, with a good breakfast, and overall service this place is great. It is not the Four Seasons if you are looking for that type of hotel. Next year we already know where we we will stay on  our way to Colorado.

We stayed here because of the good reviews on Trip Advisor and because of the price. We had stayed several times at the Holiday Inn Express and this hotel was half the cost. All we wanted at the end of our summer in Colorado was a clean room and the reviews were correct. The room was steps from our car and was spotless. The front desk person (Owner?,  Manager?) was extremely friendly and helpful. We will definately return next year!
