| Raton Motels seem to think they are in a tourist destination. They aren't. Most of them want too much money for the value and I've stayed at several.
I now have a place I will repeat at. It's old, but reasonably maintained. They seem to be trying to keep it in very good shape. Plus covered parking, car-port adjacent to most rooms - 12 ft wide.
The owner/manager/clerk was very pleasant and helpful and did everything he could to meet our needs. We mentioned one problem and he was very apologetic and ready to resolve it without question.
It's not far off the freeway and plenty of dining choices nearby.
Now, if only they could add a pool and hot tub. :-) |
