Recent Holiday Express Raton Review: "So we stayed at this hotel as our waypoint on our trip back to Colorado from Texas. We checking in and our great experience started from the first person we interacted with. After a long day of driving being met by such a great smile and a friendly welcome was perfect. The rooms are in great shape and roomy enough that our son was able to sleep on his  air mattress so he didn't have to share a bed. Because of our late arrival we didn't get to use much more of the hotel, but the pool area looked great. The next morning the breakfast was a warm self-serve style breakfast that is ran by a very friendly mother and daughter team. All the food was good and kept fresh. We were welcomes with a great southern accent saying good morning and wish a great day on our way out. The hotel is a great place to stop, clean, comfortable beds, nice new TVs, and the most important part is the amazing staff. Everyone we interacted with was super friendly, helpful and smiling!! Any time we are heading south and need a place to stay we will look this place up!"
