Recent Knights Inn Walensburg Review: "My kids and I were visiting Great Sand Dunes National Park and our route took us through Walsenburg, Colorado. We booked this room despite some negative reviews since it was half the price of others in the area. I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative comment I have is the door to our room stuck a little bit-- we had to slam it to get it closed. The room was very clean, and surprisingly spacious. My kids (12 and 8) were able to spread out and play board games and there was still plenty of space. We had a microwave and refrigerator, which was a nice surprise. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and efficient. Given the choice of hotels in the area, I would definitely stay here again. It's not the Marriott or Embassy Suites, but Walsenburg doesn't have anything approaching that level of service."
